Week 5

During my fifth week of the internship, I was assigned to cover a speaking event featuring Jared Taylor that was ultimately postponed. Although the event did not occur, I still conducted background research and prepared for the segment for The Five Minute Fly By. When the postponement was announced, I had to quickly adjust and inform listeners clearly and professionally. This experience taught me the importance of flexibility and how to communicate changing information accurately, while reinforcing that preparation is still valuable even when plans shift.
