Week 6

During my sixth week of the internship, I covered how the U.S. and Iran conflict was affecting students at Salisbury University, which required a more immediate and responsive reporting approach. I conducted “on the street” interviews to gather student reactions and perspectives for The Five Minute Fly By. This meant asking open-ended questions, adapting quickly to responses, and shaping spontaneous conversations into usable audio. The experience strengthened my ability to think quickly, listen actively, and understand how global events influence campus perspectives and communication.
